Lost Spaces: Keretapi Tanah Melayu tracks, Buona Vista

The Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) tracks between Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Timah stations opened 1932.

Closed 1 July 2011.

Photo taken 9 July 2011 under the Mass Rapid Transit viaduct between Buona Vista and Commonwealth MRT stations.

The tracks were eventually removed and returned to Malaysia.

The vacant strip of land is now part of the Rail Corridor.

Lost Spaces: Serangoon Bus Interchange

Opened 1988 along Serangoon Central.

Closed 3 September 2011.

An air-conditioned bus interchange of the same name opened the same day along Serangoon Avenue 2, integrated with shopping mall nex.

The building has been converted into the Braddell Heights Community Hub.
